What We Publish
We invite original, unpublished submissions in the following areas:

Analysis of contemporary issues such as governance, public policy, economy, identity, migration, environment, healthcare, and education.
2. Voices
Opinion pieces, commentaries, and reflective essays offering informed perspectives on matters of public interest.
3. History & Heritage
Research-based historical writing, archival insights, and explorations of Assam’s civilisational past.
4. People & Culture
Profiles, social narratives, literary reflections, and discussions on language, traditions, and cultural change.
5. Ideas Lab
Forward-looking essays on policy innovation, systems thinking, technology, development models, and the future of society.
6. Arts & Letters
Creative and critical writing on literature, visual arts, crafts, aesthetics, and cultural traditions.
Types of Submissions
We publish three primary formats:
Long-form Essays
2,000–4,000 words
Deep analysis, historical studies, or research-based articles.
Opinion & Commentary
800–1,500 words
Well-argued perspectives on contemporary issues.
Short Reflections & Cultural Notes
500–800 words
Brief insights, commentary, or narrative pieces.
Editorial Standards
All submissions should demonstrate:
• Originality and clarity of thought
• Analytical depth and contextual understanding
• Respectful and balanced tone
• Accurate facts and, where relevant, credible sources
• Relevance to Assam, Northeast India, or broader cultural and policy themes
We do not publish content that is:
• Sensationalist or inflammatory
• Partisan propaganda
• Hate speech or personal attacks
• Unverified allegations
